The Japanese non-menu restaurant takes "light and shadow change" as its design inspiration. The space uses single wood texture, and the outdoor light injection during the day and the spatial hierarchical lighting at night reflect the dynamic beauty of changes along the time. The various spaces in the field: the "banzai" cooking bar, the seating area and the individual dining room, through different lighting options, such as recessed lamps, chandeliers, etc., forms a unique dining situation, and also echo with the spirit of the non-menu cuisine: every day has a different surprise.
The Japanese word "OMAKASE" is for non-menu restaurant, which means "trust", that is, the expertise of the cooking side is very trusted, so the customer is willing to entrust the processing. The designer uses lighting to accentuate the atmosphere of each area of the space: The bar creates a dialogue stage between the chef and the customer through a whole row of chandeliers, recessed lamps and indirect lighting in the rear, reflecting the trust of the Japanese word "OMAKASE"; The seating area and individual dining rooms are with less lighting, and uses the main light to highlight the food, and the integration of the Japanese spirit into the design and traffic flows not only allows the customers to enjoy Japanese cuisine, but also to feel the baptism of Japanese culture.
