本案以「原生材質與場域互動」為核心概念，於40年老屋中重塑品牌咖啡廳的空間型態。設計突破傳統吧台配置，將其置於空間中心，結合建築結構柱體，創造回字型動線與多元座位組合，使空間更具流動性與交流性。材料運用展現創新精神，選擇水泥磚、不鏽鋼、OSB板，並以橘、綠壓克力點綴，兼顧美感與品牌識別。功能規劃上，拆除封閉隔間以釋放坪效，巧妙利用高低地坪與材質差異，形塑多元情境區塊，使顧客可依需求選擇最合適的使用場域。環保面則保留原建物馬賽克磁磚，減少拆除廢棄，並選用可再利用建材，降低對環境的衝擊。THE FOX 二店不僅為品牌創造嶄新空間語彙，更成為社區共享的友善節點，實踐設計的永續價值與社會責任。
This project centers on the interaction between raw materials and space, reimagining a 40-year-old building into a branded café. The design breaks away from the traditional bar setup by placing it at the center, integrating it with the structural column to create a circular flow and diverse seating arrangements. This enhances spatial fluidity and encourages interaction. The materials chosen reflect a spirit of innovation: cement bricks, stainless steel, and OSB boards, accented by orange and green acrylics that balance aesthetics with brand identity. Functionally, enclosed partitions were removed to maximize usable space. Differences in floor height and material usage define distinct zones, enabling guests to select the most suitable setting for their needs. From a sustainability perspective, the original mosaic tiles were preserved to minimize demolition waste, and recyclable materials were used to reduce the environmental impact. THE FOX’s second location not only creates a new design language for the brand but also serves as a friendly, shared hub for the local community, embodying the values of sustainable design and social responsibility.
